Core Returns, Warranty, and Defective or Freight-Damaged Units Policy
At BAAN Powertrain, we strive to provide both high-quality products and services to our customers. We understand that occasionally, there may be issues with core returns, warranty claims, or damaged units. Please review the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Core Returns
To return a core, please follow these steps:
- Prepare the Core
- Ensure the core is drained of all fluids and securely packaged.
- Attach the core return tag if included with your original purchase.
- Complete the Core Return Form
- Fill out the core return form available on our website or included with your shipment.
- Include your order number, contact information, and reason for the return.
- Arrange Shipping
- Contact BAAN Powertrain before shipping the core. We may provide specific instructions or approve the shipping method.
- Shipments sent without prior approval from BAAN Powertrain may be denied or have the freight charges deducted from the customer’s account or credits.
- Receive Your Credit
- Once we receive and inspect the core, a credit will typically be issued to your account within a standard processing time, often within 5-7 business days.
Warranty Claims
If you experience an issue covered under warranty, please follow these steps:
- Review the Warranty Terms
- Refer to the warranty documentation provided with your purchase or on our website.
- Contact Customer Service
- Email our dedicated warranty team at warranty@baanpowertrain.com or call 1.780.633.2780.
- Provide your order number, details of the issue, and any relevant photos or documentation.
- Return the Defective Unit
- If a return is necessary, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.
- Securely package the unit and arrange for shipping using the instructions provided.
- Inspection and Resolution
- Our technicians will inspect the unit upon receipt. If the issue is confirmed to be covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the unit as necessary.
Defective or Freight-Damaged Units
In the event that your unit arrives defective or damaged during shipping, please follow these steps:
- Inspect Upon Delivery
- Inspect the package thoroughly before signing for the shipment from the carrier. Take clear photos of any damage to document the condition at delivery.
- Report the Issue
- Contact our customer service within 48 hours of delivery at 1.780.633.2780 or email warranty@baanpowertrain.com.
- Provide your order number, photos of the damage, and a description of the issue.
- Return or Replace
- You will receive an RMA number and further instructions for returning the defective or damaged unit.
- Always contact BAAN Powertrain before shipping. Shipments sent collect without our knowledge may be denied or have the freight charges deducted from any credits owed to you.
